We’re Ads and Lisa – a couple who spend most of our free time trying to slow life down a little. The Quiet Mind Lab grew out of that – out of long walks, too much coffee, and a shared need for some quiet in the middle of all the noise.
We’re not experts. Just two people figuring it out as we go, learning what helps us stay present, and sharing the bits that seem to make a difference. Most of what ends up here starts somewhere ordinary – a small thought, a half-finished conversation, or something one of us scribbled down before we forgot it.
If anything you find here helps you pause for a second, breathe a bit easier, or feel a little more relaxed, then it’s doing what we hoped it would.

Our Philosophy
We believe mindfulness doesn’t need to look a certain way. It doesn’t belong to retreats, incense, or perfect morning routines. It lives in small pauses – the breath before you answer a message, the stillness between thoughts, the way light falls across a table.
The Quiet Mind Lab exists to make those moments easier to notice. Everything we create – from books to guided meditations – is rooted in the idea that calm isn’t something you chase. It’s something you return to.
Awareness isn’t about escaping life; it’s about being fully here for it.
What We’re Building
The Quiet Mind Lab isn’t a big plan – it’s a small, ongoing practice. We write, record, and make things that help us slow down and think more clearly, then share the bits that might help someone else. Some of that turns into books, some becomes guided meditations, and some stay as simple notes. Different shapes, same intention: a little more space in the middle of a busy day.
